English, Creative Arts & Media

In choosing to study English, Creative Arts & Media with us, you will encounter some of the greatest books written in the English language, from William Shakespeare and Jane Austen, to Seamus Heaney and Eavan Boland. Stages 1 and 2 introduces you to poetry, fiction and drama, while the Creative Arts are explored in the Creative Writing and Drama and Performance modules. At Stages 3 and 4, more advanced modules in English literature and the Creative Arts are available, while Media Studies modules allow learners to engage with Media theory, along with the study of film.
